Most babies are perfectly healthy and almost all sleep challenges are the result of the fact that:

A) They’re babies.

B) We’re mucking it up.

This doesn’t make you a bad parent, a stupid parent, or an uncaring parent. Figuring out how to best help your baby sleep is hard and often it comes down to a lengthy process of trial and error. But for 90% of us, our struggles are fairly organic and will go away if we can come up with and execute a solid sleep plan.

For the remaining 10% of parents, challenging baby sleep is frequently related to or caused by an underlying medical wrinkle.
